Mock Seasons
The BRIT School’s calendar allows for several Mock Seasons across the year.
The Year 11 (GCSE) and Post 16 (Pathways) Mock Season usually takes place during the first two weeks of January.
For the 2025–2026 academic year, the Mock Season will begin on 9th December 2025 and end on 23rd January 2026, covering all written exams and practical assessments. MFL French and Spanish-speaking assessments will take place 19–23 January 2026.
Year 11 Mock results will be issued to students on 5 February 2026 at the end of the school day.
For Year 10, there will be a one-day English and Maths mock on 3 February 2026, followed by the full Year 10 Mock Season from 22nd to 25th June 2026.
Mock Seasons cover written exam content only for GCSE Options, GCSE Core Subjects and Pathway Subjects. For Year 11, if time allows, practical assessments may be scheduled for GCSE Textiles Option, Art Option and Photography Option during the January Mocks. Any work created will be used as part of students’ portfolios. There are no mock exams for UAL or RSL qualifications in either the Year 11 or Year 10 Mock Seasons. Live RSL external assessments will begin in January 2026 and will take place during protected strand session time within the Year 11 Mocks.
Students are required to bring their own equipment for all exams, including black pens, pencils, calculators and geometry equipment. The Exams Team also recommends that students bring water in a clear, unlabelled bottle. Highlighters may be used on source booklets and inserts, but not in written answers.
The latest PDF mock timetable can be found below. Individual student timetables, including rooming and seating information, will be available on the student iSAMS app and will be communicated home by the end of Term 3.
