  • Accenture Prize for Live Performance at the BRIT School 2022

Today we awarded young musicians the Accenture Prize for Live Performance in association with the MITs.

The MITs Committee and Accenture judged nine live performances and were impressed by the huge amount of talent from the Year 13 Music students.

Fin Millard won first place for playing the drums skillfully with control.

Lucy Gowen was the runner up and performed guitar to a Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal arrangement of the  Pink Panther theme.

The Accenture bursary helps to fund the next step of their careers and students have in the past purchased equipment and software to practice and record on, bought studio time or instruments, or used it towards future training fees.  Congratulations to all of the students who performed. Thank you to the panel: Jonathan Taiwo, Toby Leighton-Pope, Sarah Clark, Emma Mackie and Francis Keeling.
