A former BRIT School student herself, Claire has now been a successful session musician and live performer for over 25 years. She has a BA Hons Degree in Popular Music and Recording from Salford University and an ALCM diploma in Voice.

Claire is a singer and a multi-instrumentalist who is passionate about music education and sharing her love of music with others. She has performed in a variety of settings, including west end, theatres, concerts, festivals, and private events. She has also recorded music for various projects, including film and television.

In addition to her performance career, Claire is currently working on a series of music books designed to help students gain confidence in reading music and understanding their instruments. These books are suitable for anyone, including partially sighted and special needs students.

As a music teacher with over 20 years of experience, she has seen first-hand the benefits of a strong foundation in music theory and vocal/ instrumental technique. Claire’s goal is to provide students with the tools they need to succeed in their musical journey, whether they are just starting out or looking to improve their skills.

Claire's primary instruments are Voice, Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute and Piano. She has been playing these instruments for many years and has achieved Grade 8/ Diploma standard on each of them. She believes that being proficient in multiple instruments has helped her become a better teacher and performer, as she is able to understand and appreciate the nuances of each instrument and how they work together in a musical context.
